A recent operation in the Caribbean Sea resulted in the deaths of three individuals, adding to a total of at least 230 casualties from 69 operations since the campaign commenced in September 2025. Rubio indicated that future military actions would be evaluated individually, based on the specific threat and the location of the vessel.
Rubio stressed that the enhanced cooperation with regional governments is crucial for disrupting and ultimately ending the drug-trafficking routes.
